"White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-280 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY When you respond My joy knows no bounds Your response makes my day Sends a smile to my arteries and veins It is okay If you do not I have learned to bear with it I know you are too busy Too preoccupied to find time for me I know What does time mean to you How do you value it Don't expect you to spoil it for someone Who hardly matters in your life A nonentity I was Will remain so till I am alive But I feel ecstatic When, from a distance, I see you smiling Your happiness means so much I have forgotten my own long since I often ask myself do I need anything Except for your happiness and well-being? Am I so selfish, is my love a selfish desire It seeks its felicity in your cheer and smile,? From a distance I sense your feelings, sorrow and happiness Though physically we are miles apart I visualise your tears and smile I know how you are But sometimes I doubt my instincts For which I ask how do you feel? When you respond
My joy knows no bounds
Your response makes my day
Sends a smile to my arteries and veins
It is okay If you do not
I have learned to bear with it
I know you are too busy
Too preoccupied to find time for me

I know
What does time mean to you
How do you value it
Don't expect you to spoil it for someone
Who hardly matters in your life

A nonentity I was
Will remain so till I am alive
But I feel ecstatic
When, from a distance, I see you smiling
Your happiness means so much
I have forgotten my own long since

I often ask myself do I need anything
Except for your happiness and well-being?
Am I so selfish, is my love a selfish desire
It seeks its felicity in your cheer and smile,?

From a distance
I sense your feelings, sorrow and happiness
Though physically we are miles apart
I visualise your tears and smile
I know how you are
But sometimes I doubt my instincts
For which I ask how do you feel?
