My greatest friend Many years ago I met you I didn't know at the time You would be my best friend More than a regular canine You would shake both paws And could speak or whisper You loved to go swimming I swear you were like flipper You had tonnes of tennis balls And bones of all shapes and sizes Random stuffed toys ripped apart Watching you chew was priceless Blankets on the clothesline Were your favourite thing Pulling them down to lay on Calmly thinking it was nothing Chasing trains and motorcycles Along the fence you would run Hoping you would catch one Making you proud to have won You adored all other dogs too You wanted to make friends Never hostile with other ones For that I greatly commend Memories of you will last eternally Kind , gentle and so friendly The greatest buddy I've known Like your name - Bear, my teddy ©Schizology

That guy He yelled damn you! I think it's him I know that voice And it's not Tim He wants some sugar But not from me Give him yours Soon you will see He carries his milk And a candy bar too Don't try and take them Because it's not very cool Any commercial He can recite Every word exactly Just ask and he might Playing his guitar He has a gift A natural knack for it I heard amazing riffs A family friend for years Our parents hung out Haven't seen him in awhile Over ten years I'd say about I hope he's doing well And everything is okay We had some great times I will never forget those days ©Schizology

A dog There is an animal I had years ago His name was Bear , a rottweiler A dog unmatched in his loyalty And no canine could be kinder He played with his tennis balls And at the park with his frisbee Lots and lots of stuffed tiny toys With these things he stayed busy Walks up to four times a day First thing in the morning We both woke up quite early A long walk to get us going He didn't like having his bath He was against it completely After fifty requests to get in Into the tub though defiantly Going to the lake was different Overjoyed and very excited Jumping right into the water Suffice to say he was delighted A wonderful friend for many years His memory will live on forever The best dog I could ever want One day we will again be together ©Schizology
