White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-278 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Know not How I come under a spell That takes me to a different world Where I do not remain myself Know not What happens to me I become someone else The world around looks so beautiful once again Know not Amid hot summer How do I feel the cool breeze of spring Touching my body and mind Telling emphatically My days are not over Still, I have plenty of life in me Know not Why do I see the peacock dancing Hoping rain on its way When there are no clouds in the sky Why the sun fancies the blooming lotus When there is darkness around Signalling it is late at night I know I am in my dream A beautiful dream Out of which I never venture to come out An intriguing dream More real and fascinating than reality Where I love to live the rest of my life.
