White SOMETHING I LOOK AT-137 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY A LOOK AT ME Don't call me a poet I am not one. How can I be with so much ego, hatred and jealousy? How can I be one when I don't have the eyes to see good in others, a heart to reciprocate and a mind to acknowledge truth and beauty How can someone be who does not enjoy other's success, an island in himself who has not seen anything beyond the blue sea. One whose sun rises and sets, the day begins and night descends only for himself can hardly be a poet. Being an epitome of negativity in all its forms I only faithfully reflect myself, my selfishness, prejudice and malice for the rest. If poetry is reflecting the society for its betterment what betterment I am doing except propagating and projecting myself I need at least one more birth to love and understand poetry, appreciate others and many more births to realise, there is absolutely no difference I and my focus of jealousness are the same Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty

White A LOOK AT LIFE-138 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY MEDITATION Doing things With heart and mind is meditation. Losing oneself while retaining One's identity is meditation. Complete identification with the object of Love and adoration is meditation. Watching oneself As a silent spectator is meditation. Going inside and becoming one with the Cosmic vibration is meditation. Feeling the blood Flowing inside the arteries and veins, Breathe coming in and going out Is meditation. Moving along the spine From one Chakra to other is meditation. Raising one's consciousness from The gross to the subtle is meditation Visualising the cosmic universe as one's expansion And contracting oneself To a dot is meditation Seeing and feeling one's object of love In whatever one sees and what lies Beyond vision and perception is meditation Concentration with love and Detachment is meditation Meditation is love at its fulfilling best, Consciousness at a different level, Living in another dimension. Meditation is the art and science Of Body and mind Realising that the object of meditation and The subject are but one is meditation It introduces you to yourself And let you know your forgotten identity It tells you who you are, Connects you with your source.
