White As you saw me for the last time I didn't realise...it eas the last ! As you embraced me finally I didn't realise it was ' the final' ! You were radiant and glowing, I didn't realise it was the final luminance !!!! As I carried you cold... I didn't realise it was 'white cold' !! As you crumpled motionless and still.. I didn't realise it was final still !! You looked divine and calm I didn't realise it was penultimate calm !!! Every effort to restore was fruitless, aimless, useless. You didn't come back But I saw you seing me Half open eyes...breathless, lifeless Every second I feel you haven't left I hug you in my thoughts with deep seated regrets Was I good to you? Did I calm you in your pain? These lines bombard me Leavyus in immense pain ©Preeti Babbar
