In my bachelor I fell in love at first sight Told her how I felt, but she didn't see the light I felt a bit down, but then a friend came to save She helped me out, and we grew closer every day But things went wrong, misunderstandings in the way She compared me with my past, what more could I say I called her on her birthday, wished her all the best But she told me we were through, our love put to the test She betrayed me, told our friends I was to blame Blackmailing her, she said, it was all just a game But they believed her words, and they all turned on me Judging me unfairly, they couldn't see what I could see On Republic Day, our relation came to an end The pain of the past, it just wouldn't bend But I'll keep on moving, and find love once again For I know that someday, I'll find as happiness of rain. ©Ashis Das

It's been a long time since I wrote Stuck among thoughts and trying to coat Them with a pen on a note Old is gold because we were quite bold To suffer through pain and get again a good hold Remember those days! When you cried over a broken toy While after some time giggling when you fixed it and eyes with joy I wonder when we lost ourselves To the brink we try to end our precious lives No wonder we miss our old days Creating new shapes with modelling clays Let's hold the warm ray of hopes Letting it melt and break The shackles of sufferings And enjoy the warmth of life forever. ©Vivechana Gupta
